Avast and heave-to. We're headed for Bivalve, MD and JENNY BUG!!!

This is a great family camp on the Nanticoke River: Canoe, fish, bike, play. Troop dinner Saturday night cooked by Grillmaster Trazzi. ASM Schatz has called upon his special powers with the State Govt to give us a fine weekend of weather:

Biking: ASM Lumsden will ride the 62-mile Wicomico Heritage Ride. There will be shorter rides as well. All those who wish to ride must register at http://www.pembertonpark.org/forms/Heritage_Ride_Registration.pdf. This is am organized cycling event with water stops and food provided. It starts at historic Camp Pemberton, just 10 mins (car ride) from our campsite.

Canoeing : We will canoe the canals along the Nanticoke in the afternoon. Each canoe must have a BSA lifeguard and rowing/canoeing badge-holder.

Fishing : all day long from the river bank.

Hot News- Sunday Aug 29 - T35 Attends Navy's Salute to 100 Yrs of Scouting!!!

 The US Navy put on a Five-Star slute to 100 Yrs of Scouting in the US with a Ceremony abord the USNS Comfort, the worlds largest floating hospital - And Troop 35 was there.Pictured here is Tenderfoot [soon-to-be 2nd Class] Scout Logan Hand and ASM Lumsden after the ceremony with US Navy Vice-Admiral Sagerholm, CAPT David K. Weiss(left) Director ofthe Comfort Hospital and 4 current Naval Academy midshipmen who are also Eagal Scouts!! ASM Jim Waller and Eagle On-Deck Conor Waller attended as well and got to promenade around the flight deck of the Comfort in advance of the ceremony.  Thanks to Lt. Commander John Jeppi and Pack 319 for bringing this to our attention.

Little known fact: VADM Sagerholm and ASM Lumsden both attended Baltimore Polytechnic (Poly) [graduating '46/'72] and the V-Admiral actually wrote the words to the Poly Hymn which uses the same tune as the Navy Hymn.
